With the high costs and timescales to approve each merchant retail payment system, YESpay has end-to-end pre-accredit (generically) its hosted emboss payment service in over 35 countries with leading European and North American Card Acquirers.

As a result of increased need for transaction and card security, emboss has been PCI DSS Level 1 certified standards since 2006 and more recently PS-DSS certified. All cardholder data is encrypted end-to-end and securely transmitted from each point of sale terminal to emboss ensuring no data can be accessed or compromised.

Visa and MasterCard have developed a secure cardholder authentication payment mechanism for e-commerce transactions, known as Verified-by-Visa (VBV) and MasterCard SecureCode (MSC), collectively referred to as 3D Secure. It requires a cardholder to authenticate themselves during a web transaction using a unique username and password during the transaction process. emboss has been fully certified by major Card Acquirers to support e-commerce payments with full support for 3D Secure.

Merchants operating within retail, kiosk, hospitality, MOTO and e-commerce payment environments can now upgrade and start to deploy their accredited retail systems in as little as 2-4 weeks without further bank approvals and can conduct self certification for PCI DSS in majority of cases, no matter what size payment infrastructure they have.
